OSET CUP NORTH ROUND 3

OSET CUP ROUND 3 Ghyll Farm.
Sun Shines on OSET CUP ROUND 3

 Sam and Cam2

Sam Lefevre and Cameron Batty. One travelled the furthest and the other stepped out of his back door.

The forecast was for rain and strong wind’s but the weatherman got it totally wrong. Strong sunshine and a breeze greeted 25 OSET RIDERS at the picturesque venue on the edge of the Lake district. This was not the TRIAL GB from a few weeks earlier but it was just as hotly contested.
Four routes for beginners through to elite riders ensured there was something for everybody. We had 12.5R through to 24R in terms of machines and 4 to 15 in terms of age. We ran the event on a conducted basis and riders were split into two groups and sent to start at different sections. A big thankyou to Carl Batty for observing and the whole Batty family for the venue and all their help.
We have some 14 different classes which is a lot to cover in terms of write up so we will let the results speak for themselves so as not to disappoint anyone. The atmosphere was superb with the parents cheering on all the kids and helping to catch and support where needed. It was smiles all the way on the day from everybody. The results were ready in 20 minutes which gave the kids time to eat the GOURMET HOTDOGS provided by Mrs Batty and the crew. How do you like them onions as the saying goes. The presentation took place against the beautiful Lakes back drop and we cannot wait for the next round at The Rock Store near Scunthorpe on the 11th of September.
